Thanks to Michael Hehir, festival coordinator, for the latest news on the forthcoming 2nd Bruff Bluegrass Festival in Bruff, Co. Limerick:

Fantastic celebration of bluegrass music to savour in Bruff this October 1st, 2nd & 3rd with a great selection of the best bluegrass bands in the country descending on Bruff for the second year running. The Niall Toner Band will open on Friday 1st, and over the weekend Woodbine, the Bluestack Mountain Boys, Southern Bluegrass Union, Bending the Strings, the Sullivan Brothers, and Southern Welfare. Friday night features two mike sessions in two venues - Clancy's Bar and Derry's Bar. On Saturday and Sunday lunchtime picking sessions, and this year we are adding Twilight Mike sessions from 5.00 p.m.
