Sharon Cort Band: in search of gigs from 23 Aug.

Many BIB readers will have heard of the collapse of the Indie'Go World Music Festival at Fenagh, Co. Carlow, last weekend, with artists, sound people, and stage crews among the many who were left unpaid for their time and effort.

Those who are suffering from this debacle include the Sharon Cort Band (USA), for whom the festival had represented the anchor point for their current tour of Ireland, and an essential part of their income for the trip.

As a result, Sharon and the band will be glad to consider any possibilities of playing shows in the week beginning Monday 23 August, before they are due to appear at the Dunmore East Festival later in the week. If you know of, or can offer, an opening for the band, please contact Sharon by e-mail.
