Omagh's own, Dunmore East's adopted sons, and the Irish bluegrass scene's best-kept secrets - the Knotty Pine String Band have so far been successful in keeping their activities hidden from the BIB.

However, last Sunday Declan O'Kane (far right in the above photo, which was the cover image on their Old home place album) fell into our hands, and under interrogation revealed that the band are now accessible on Facebook. So now there is at least a means of finding out when they do the odd thing such as touring the USA (see the picture below, taken at Lake Tahoe on their tour last year).
