Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters (USA), who rank among the cream of the New England bluegrass scene, will be in Ireland in early September as part of a tour of over three weeks in these islands. The band is made up of Amy Gallatin (guitar, vocals), Roger Williams (Dobro, vocals) Eric Levenson (upright bass), and J.D. Williams, mandolin. They will be playing at the Appalachian & Bluegrass Music Festival at Omagh, Co. Tyrone (3-5 Sept.) and elsewhere in Ireland on the four following nights, before crossing to Britain to play at nine locations there, including the Cornish Bluegrass Festival at Newquay (17-18 Sept.) and the Moniaive Michaelmas Bluegrass Festival in Dumfriesshire, Scotland (24-26 Sept.), and ending with a final show in Ireland on 28 Sept. before flying home.
