Woodbine will not be idle after the forthcoming
20th Athy Bluegrass Festival; after taking part for the third successive year in the
Ardara Bluegrass Festival in Co. Donegal, a week after Athy, they'll be shovelling on a little more coal at the August Bank Holiday weekend, on both days (Sunday 1 August and Monday 2 August) of the
Irish Steam Preservation Society's Steam Rally at Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, Co. Laois, where they will be playing at 2.00 p.m. each day.
Pressure will be maintained over the following week, as they'll be playing in Tuohy's at Rathdowney, Co. Laois, on Thursday 5 August; in 'Bluegrass on the Walls' at Derry city in the afternoon of Saturday 7 August; and at Conway's, Ramelton, Co. Donegal, on the evening of the same day. Just watch old 97 roll...
