'Madam I'd like to be tossin' your hay'
Thanks to Jim MacArdle of the Skillet Lickers (Drogheda) for the news that he and bandmate Mick Dunne will be among the musicians helping to launch an album of traditional music at the Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre, Naul, Co. Dublin, on Tuesday 15 June.
The album's full title is 'Madam I'd like to be tossin' your hay': traditional music and song from Mid and South Louth. Other musicians taking part in the launch are Eilis Quinn, Hughie Grogan, and Peter Farrell, together with special guests. The launch begins at 8.00 p.m., and the music at 8.30 sharp.
