We went to hear the High Plains boys in John Murphy's, Carrick on Bannow last night. They were brilliant, unique solo voices, beautiful vocal harmonies, virtuoso playing. At the end of the night I asked Doug the mandolin player what make was his very unusual mandolin. "I made it myself" Not to be missed !
