Floods in central Tennessee

Ireland knows what flooding means, so there will be much sympathy for the people of the Southern states, where the Cumberland river has risen and flooded large areas. According to one source, at least 28 people have died in three states, and the areas affected in central Tennessee include downtown Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry, as well as the pleasant and historic town of Franklin. See the details on today's Bluegrass Blog.

An earlier post on the BB mentions Ashby Frank (last here on tour with the Special Consensus sixteen months ago) as one of the many bluegrass people affected by the floods. Ashby's house was severely damaged while he was out on the road.
