A band of brothers

Uri Kohen reports from Westport, Co. Mayo:
Two years ago, I was approached by the Sullivan Brothers to play the 2nd Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival. After listening to their music and finding out that we share the same musical taste, I booked them to the festival. They played the opening show of the festival and went down a treat with the Westport crowd.
Last night (22.5.2010) they returned to Westport, this time with new companions, new CD, and a fresher sound. Their 'brotherly sound', backed with vibrant energy and three very talented musicians, created the perfect show [see photo above]. The crowd in Geraghty's pub loved them, and I'm sure they will return to the west soon. A well recommended gig.
Next week, we will have County Line from the States.
