Athy 2010 festival launch party, 14 May

The Athy Bluegrass Festival is the longest-running annual bluegrass event in this island, and this year the Athy Bluegrass Music Association holds the twentieth consecutive festival in the series (8-11 July). The programme was announced earlier this year, and can be seen on the completely refurbished ABMA website, on the BIB for 2 February, and on the BIB calendar.

The ABMA will hold a launch for the 2010 festival on Friday 14 May, beginning at 9.00 p.m. in the Carlton Abbey Hotel in central Athy, the venue for all the festival concerts.
