New Athy Bluegrass Music Association website

Tony O'Brien announces that the Athy Bluegrass Music Association website was relaunched today after a complete remodelling.

The BIB can report that the new website is easy on the eye, and the features include a full programme for the 2010 Festival. Athy hosts the longest-running annual bluegrass event in this island, and this year's will be the twentieth consecutive bluegrass festival held there. Also featured are details (with web links) of all bands taking part. This year the lineup includes three new bands from Dublin and Cork, making their first Athy appearances.

The Accommodation page includes names and 'phone numbers for over a dozen hotels and guest houses in the Athy area, headed by the Carlton Abbey Hotel in central Athy, venue for all Festival concerts.
