Bending the Strings earn high praise

Last Saturday, Bending the Strings did support on a major country music concert in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, and on the bill were Billie Jo Spears, Georgette Jones, and Philomena Begley.

Bending the Strings went down a storm with the country audience, who were very taken with the band's style of honkey-tonk bluegrass; and afterwards Georgette Jones, country music superstar and daughter of George Jones and the late Tammy Wynette, congratulated the band on their unusual brand of bluegrass, saying that the folks back home in the United States would love the band's approach to the music.

Bending the Strings were suitably impressed with getting such positive feedback from Georgette, and were more than happy to pose for a picture with the American country superstar.
