Clive Barnes at Westport

Uri Kohen of Electric Cave Production reports from Westport, Co. Mayo, on the most recent gig in the series leading up to this year's Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival:

A few months ago, a friend asked me if I'd heard about Clive Barnes. 'You should check his music; he's brilliant', the friend added. And so I did, and I booked his gig to the 'Unfinished Music Series' in Geraghty's pub.

Last night (Saturday) Clive played a superb gig in Westport. I didn't know how good it was going to be, but I now know it's just as good as it gets. The music was great and left the fans asking for more. Once again we enjoyed great music in Westport, and I would highly recommend going to see Clive in concert.
