Pinecastle Records announces that the Josh Williams Band will be among the headliners at the 53rd annual Telethon of Stars in Paducah, KY, this weekend.

Josh (left), whom many here will remember from more than one tour by the Special Consensus, in which he was then mandolin player, received the Guitar Player of the Year award at the IBMA awards last month, for the second year running.

The Special C. themselves are doing well for Pinecastle: according to the Bluegrass Unlimited national survey, two tracks from their latest CD, Signs (released earlier this year) are at #8 ('Gone to Carolina') and #17 ('Signs') on the charts, and moving up. Signs itself is #10 among the top 15 albums.
