The news has been on the BIB calendar for a while, but Niall Toner sends a salutary reminder:

NTB, Peggy Seeger, and Charlie McGettigan are playing the Unitarian Church on Stephen's Green, Dublin, on this Wednesday night, doors 8.30 p.m.; and the following night, Thursday, at the Dock Arts Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Doors also 8.30 p.m.

BIB editor's note: Peggy Seeger's first ten-inch LP on Topic Records is probably the main reason why I got involved with this music, and her versions of 'Cumberland Gap' and 'Shady Grove' are still, for me, the way these tunes should be played.
