Little Ass Birds launch new EP, 17 Dec.

Thanks to Conor Doyle of the Little Ass Birds for the news that the Birds are launching an EP CD on Thursday 17 December in the Cobblestone, Smithfield. Doors open at 8.00 p.m. It holds four tracks: two original songs ('Lullaby for Gene' and 'Moonshine') and two old-time tunes ('Elzic's farewell' and 'Shortnin' bread').

The Little Ass Birds are Charleen Hurtubise (vocals, mandolin), Geoff Gallagher (vocals, guitar), Conor Doyle (mandolin, fiddle, guitar, backing vocals, harmonies), Ben Doyle (double bass, tenor banjo, vocals, guitar) and Cathal McGeown (fiddle).
