New CD from Lou Reid & Carolina

One of my favourite US bands to see and hear live is Lou Reid & Carolina; the excitement they clearly feel in what they're doing is very infectious, and if you add to that their tight, solid rhythm, fierce instrumental work, intense harmonies, and great choice of material, there's nothing not to like.

I recommend sampling the many videos on their YouTube channel, where you can see and hear Lou not only with Carolina but with the Seldom Scene, Longview, and guests such as Bobby Hicks.
