Woodbine on RTÉ radio

Tony O'Brien of the Athy Bluegrass Music Association reports:

Woodbine - with Martin Cooney of Bending the Strings deputising for Richard on 5-string - played two spots as guests on the Tubridy Show (RTÉ Radio 1) at the National Ploughing Championships at Athy, Co. Kildare, on Tuesday 22 September, and as a result of their performance were invited to perform three spots on the Marty Whelan Show on Lyric FM immediately after the Tubridy Show. This is both a first for this show to have bluegrass music, and a first for Woodbine to play on RTÉ Radio.
