Prison Love in Dublin (22 Sept.) and Belfast (26 Sept.)
Mark O'Mahony ('Soapy' of Prison Love) reports:
Hey there friends,
Two great gigs in store for you this week...
Tuesday 22 Sept. in Crawdaddy (at Harcourt Luas station) supporting the Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir. This punky, oldtimey quartet from Calgary, Canada, are Seasick Steve's favourite band and are famed for their ferocious combination of traditional blues, Appalachian folk, and ragged gospel. Doors 8.00 p.m.; tickets €12/15 available from Ticketmaster, City Discs, and Sound Cellar.
Saturday 26 Sept. at the Belfast Open House Festival. This will be our fourth year at this great feast of music, food, beer, and beards! If you're planning on making a weekend of it, there's a £59 deal at the Ramada Hotel for festivalgoers. See the festival website for event and ticketing info.
