Live from Nashville...

Niall Toner reports from the 2009 Americana Music Festival & Conference in Nashville, TN:

Marty Stuart gave a stunning solo performance at the Station Inn in Nashville on Wednesday night, including some blistering Monroesque mandolin playing. Photo shows RTE Radio One producer Aidan Butler, Connie Smith (Mrs Stuart), Marty, and yours truly, backstage (such as it is) after the show. Earlier on that evening we heard the Greencards give a fine show at 3rd and Lindsley. We're off to the Ryman tonight for the awards show.
