Bowmac Bluegrass Company in Dublin, 21 Sept. 2009

Announcing a new bluegrass collaboration on the Dublin scene: Bowmac Bluegrass Company will be playing in 'Le Basement' (music venue) of the Le Cirk Hotel, Bar and Restaurant, 32 Dame Street, Dublin 2, at 9.15 p.m. on Monday 21 September. No cover charge.

Playing a mixture of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. Lineup:

Ralph Murphy (5-string banjo)
Barney Bowes (fiddle/banjo/vocals)
Paul McEvoy (rhythm guitar/vocals)
Patrick Simpson (lead guitar/vocals)
Aran Sheehan (mandolin)

The main entrance to 'Le Basement' is right opposite the Stag's Head pub on Dame Lane, or you can access through the main bar entrance of Le Cirk on Dame Street. It's a lovely intimate venue right in the centre of town.

So for anyone who fancies listening to a bit of bluegrass in town this Monday evening, do please come along; your support would be greatly appreciated.
