New Woodbine CD for launch at Athy festival

Woodbine's new CD Free as a breeze (WBM 003), recorded by the band in its present configuration, will be launched at the 19th Athy Bluegrass Festival next week (9-12 July 2009).

Free as a breeze, the band's third album, comprises thirteen tracks showing the trademark Woodbine choice of solid bluegrass material from a wide range of sources and writers. Recorded by Dave Howard at his Kilcullen studio near Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, the CD was produced by Clem O'Brien, who adds harmony vocals, autoharp, or dobro on three tracks.
