Gary Ferguson: fifth tour of Ireland, July 2009

Gary Ferguson (guitar, vocals) returns to Ireland in July for what is his fifth consecutive tour. Like last year, Colin Henry will be his sideman, playing dobro and guitar. The tour begins on 2 July at Foyles Hotel in Clifden, Co. Galway, followed on 3 July with a weekend at the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, where Gary will be joined by Janet Holmes. Janet will also perform with Gary and Colin on other selected gigs throughout the tour.

A highlight of this year’s programme is a series of ‘In the Round’ singer/songwriter evenings where Gary and Janet will be joined by Charlie McGettigan to perform their own and each other's songs, and with Colin to provide the grace notes on dobro a great night’s music is promised.
