Flatlanders at Vicar Street, Dublin, 29 July 2009

Thanks to Derek Nally for the fact (and to Tom Stapleton for the news) that the Flatlanders will be performing at Vicar Street, Dublin, on Wednesday 29 July. The band includes three leading Texan songwriters: Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, and Jimmy Dale Gilmore, all from Lubbock, TX. After their first album, More a legend than a band, they had successful solo careers. In 2002 they reformed for tours and recorded Now again.
