Festival of World Cultures, Dun Laoghaire, 29-30 Aug.

On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, the Festival of World Cultures returns to Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, with the usual amazing programme of events, in which the very wide-ranging musical schedule is only one part. Old-time- and bluegrass-related music are represented by the Rough Deal String Band and Prison Love; other Americana is to be heard, and there's much, much more. Next year's dates are already announced: Friday 23–Sunday 25 July 2010.
