After Athy

The 19th Athy Bluegrass Music Festival last weekend must have set new attendance records - people who came too late on Saturday night to the main concert venue, the Carlton Abbey Hotel, had to be turned away, missing stellar performances by the Bluegrass Patriots (USA) and 4 Wheel Drive (BE/D/NL). Embarrassing Apology Department: The editor apologises to Niall Toner and to all the friends whom he tried to convince that the song 'Jimmy Rodger's Dream', performed by the Niall Toner Band, was written by Clem O'Brien. The song is of course Niall's own work, with contributions by Peter Rowan. As a penance, the editor has shown the song title with the spelling used on the album NTB 3.
