Patuxent Music releases open for IBMA nominations

Tom Mindte's Patuxent Music record company, based in Rockville, Maryland, requests that IBMA members consider Patuxent recording artists for awards at World of Bluegrass 2009.

Several of the artists recommended for instrumental performance of the year, album of the year, and instrumental recording performance of the year, have come to Ireland as young members of Tom's Patuxent Partners band - Patrick McAvinue (fiddle), Nate Leath (fiddle), and Jordan Tice (guitar) - while others are major figures in bluegrass history such as Frank Wakefield or the three Stoneman sisters, Patsy, Donna, and Roni.
