Love Cannon String Band

Tom Stapleton of the Music Store, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, sent word back in May that Texas folk-country-rock-protest singer/songwriter James McMurtry and the Heartless Bastards will play at the Set Theatre, Langton's, Kilkenny, on Wednesday 14 October 2009 as part of a European tour. McMurtry's bio uses the word 'Dylanesque'.

Ten days later (Saturday 24 October) Idaho folk-country-rock-protest singer/songwriter Josh Ritter and the Love Cannon String Band (guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass) will be playing in the same new venue.
