Davy Graham, 1940-2008

David Michael Gordon ('Davy') Graham, one of the most influential acoustic guitarists of the last fifty years, died on 15 December 2008, just over three weeks after his 68th birthday. With a grounding in classical guitar study, he set a high standard for fingerpicking and (among other accomplishments) invented the DADGAD guitar tuning.
