A new frontier: Raptorgrass

Thanks to Chicago mandolinist and current Dublin resident Martin McWhorter for this link to a news item in the Bluegrass Intelligencer. It looks as if bluegrass concerts are about to take on a whole new, exciting dimension. Audience members are advised to bring stout oilskins and heavy-duty fly swatters.

PS: This was all foreseen, as through a glass darkly, in the late 1980s when Robin Lynn Macy, now a Dixie Chick, was guitarist and singer for a band called Danger in the Air in Dallas, TX.
