Guitar heaven at Clonakilty, 18-21 Sept. 2008

The fingerstyle acoustic guitar virtuoso Pierre Bensusan, who won this year's Guitar Player Magazine award for Best World Music Guitar Player, will open the 2008 Guinness Clonakilty International Guitar Festival with a concert (25/20 euros) at De Barra's, Clonakilty, Co. Cork, at 9.00 p.m. on Thursday 18 September. Special guest at the concert will be Lucky Oceans, who will be in a seminar at 4.00 p.m. on Saturday 20 Sept. on the origins of the pedal steel guitar.
