Fretless banjo for sale!

Thanks to Tony Curran for these pictures of the fretless banjo (fret positions inlaid flush with the fingerboard) which he is offering for sale. Tony says:

I believe the banjo itself is very early – about 1895-1910 – as evidenced by the forty head-retaining clips. It sports a wooden truss rod and tail piece(s), and has been sympathetically restored by Jimmy Quinn. All this and five spare sets of Nylgut strings for an asking price of €600 or £500: a bargain for any collector/player!
