Instruments for sale
Thanks to Tony Curran for these photographs of two instruments which he is offering for sale. Tony adds:
The first is a concert Stroviol which I believe dates to early last century. As you can see, it is very unusual!
The second is an Appalachian mountain dulcimer made by Warren A. May in Berea, northern Kentucky. The instrument body is of fancy maple with hummingbird sound holes, and the straight tuning pegs are of (hand-carved) rosewood. I will also include what is possibly the only dulcimer capo in this country – seen to the right, below Warren’s certificate.
Anyone interested in acquiring either of these handsome instruments should contact me by e-mail, or by phone at 044+ 28 9443 3273. All reasonable offers will be considered.
