Acoustic guitar building course, July-Sept. 2008

Thanks to Pat Shannon of Dublin for news of an acoustic guitar building course which is taking place in the north-west Co. Donegal village of Gortahork this summer. Sam Irwin (formerly of Lowden and Avalon Guitars) will be the course tutor.

The course will start on 21 July and runs five days a week (9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday) for six weeks. On completion, participants will come away with a high-grade quality instrument and the kudos of having built it with their own hands.
