On the bill at the very first Athy Bluegrass Festival in 1991 and again in 1993, High Country from California woke a lot of us up then to what hard-core bluegrass is like, and are all set to deliver a reminder. In addition to their three shows at Athy on 11-13 July, they will be playing the following seven dates and one broadcast around the country. No bluegrass fan should miss them!

Tues. 8th: Cork City Library, 2.00 p.m.
Tues. 8th: Kilworth Arts Centre, Co. Cork, 8.00 p.m.
Wed. 9th: The Local Bar, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, 8.00 p.m.
Thurs. 10th: St John's Theatre, Listowel, Co. Kerry, 8.00 p.m.
(Fri. 11th-Sun. 13th: on every evening concert at the Athy festival, with a substantially different set every time)
