Noreen Hunter

Tony Curran sends the sad news that Noreen Hunter, whose husband and musical partner John died last autumn (as reported on the BIB on 21 October 2007), died on the evening of Sunday 11 May.

Noreen's remains were taken to her home in Sixmilecross, Co. Tyrone. The funeral took place after mass at the Roman Catholic church in Beragh at 1.00 p.m. today, Wednesday 14 May. The family requested a bluegrass accompaniment for the service.
