Folk Alliance Conference at Memphis, 20-24 Feb.

The 20th International Folk Alliance Conference opens at the Marriott Hotel in Memphis, TN, on Wednesday this week and continues till Sunday. The many proceedings of interest and value to bluegrass and old-time people include Lifetime Achievement Awards to Tommy Jarrell and Rounder Records, and interviews with two living legends: singer/songwriters Hazel Dickens and Ian Tyson.
