News from Ulster
Tony Curran reports:
In relation to Tim Donnelly’s benefit night on 26 January (at the Kilbroney Inn, Rostrevor, Co. Down), I wish to advise that the proceeds will go to Mourne Stimulus - a very worthy local charity that is struggling to survive with (ever-reducing) grants.
The John Hunter memorial benefit on 16 February may be held in the Beragh (Co. Tyrone) GAA hall at the southern end of the village, but I will advise further when/if this is confirmed.
I note on Nigel Martyn’s email of Monday past that there is to be an open bluegrass picking session at the Rotterdam Bar in Belfast on 19 January.
