Strictly Bluegrass in Drogheda, 19 Dec.: change of venue

Jim MacArdle (guitar, vocals), Dick McGarry (banjo, vocals), and Mick Dunne (mandolin) will present 'Strictly Bluegrass' in the Well, Newfoundwell, on the Termonfeckin Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth, at 9.00 p.m. on Wednesday 19 December, and not at Sarsfield's Pub, Chord Road, as originally announced. The change was unavoidable because of a double booking. Admission is free.

Jim, one of the pioneers of bluegrass and old-time music in Ireland, reports: 'We have started playing together only recently. Dick (5-string) you probably know, Mick Dunne is from Drogheda and is the proud possessor of a nice Gibson F-5 (and he can play it too). We hope to see all our friends there!'

Jim is also working on a album of local Drogheda and mid-Louth music, which he hopes to complete in the New Year.
