Mando Lore CD

For the many people who combine interests in bluegrass and 'Celtic' music, there's a new mandolin-plus CD out by Brian Taheny of Co. Sligo and Andrew Collins of Canada, mandolin player with the Creaking Tree String Quartet and the Foggy Hogtown Boys, who also designed the cover. The sixteen tracks on the album (seven of which are medleys of tunes) are predominantly mandolin duets, with guitar, mandocello, and bouzouki also used. The album receives very favourable comment on the Bluegrass Blog and from mandolin virtuoso Simon Mayor in his review on CDBaby.
