Help the IBMA (and the EBMA, and the BIB)
The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) is currently undertaking a large-scale update of its radio/dj list. This is one of the IBMA's most requested member services, and is used mostly by independent artists looking to distribute CDs for airplay, and by event producers looking to promote events in their region.
The IBMA would be glad of help in updating the list by completing the information below for each radio station within your area that is currently programming bluegrass. For each radio station, please supply the following:
Call letters [or other station name]
Frequency
Bluegrass DJ
Show(s)
Times
Website
Phone
Contact Katy Leonard, who holds an MA degree from the University of Limerick (see our post of 4 June 2007) by e-mail, or by post at the IBMA office, 2 Music Circle South, Suite 100, Nashville, TN 37203, USA.
This information is also important to the European Bluegrass Music Association (EBMA), which is preparing the 2008/9 edition of the European Bluegrass Directory, and to the Bluegrass Ireland Blog, which aims to have its own directory page. So if you're sending info direct to Katy at IBMA, please send a copy to the BIB editor, who will forward it to the EBMA.
