Cat Malojian on YouTube

Thanks to Jonathan Toman for the news that Cat Malojian, whom the BIB mentioned last week, played a half-hour show for NVTV in Belfast last week, in the series 'Kick out the jams'. The show is now on YouTube, here.

Steve Scullion (rhythm guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Jonathan (fingerpicking lead guitar, banjo) talk about their experiences in music to date and play six songs. Your first impression may be 'folk'; in fact, it's easy to imagine many contemporary bluegrass bands recording this material, especially 'Bad company' and 'Little darling, you're bringing me down', the two numbers on which Jonathan plays banjo.

Jonathan also plays banjo for Carmel Sheerin & the Ravens, who will be playing at Moate this coming Sunday, as mentioned in an earlier post.
