Bill Whelan to fly to Frisco

Bill Whelan of Dublin's Rough Deal String Band and many other musical enterprises (but not 'Riverdance') will be playing his eclectic, comprehensive, and utterly dependable old-time banjo style at the 9th Annual San Francisco Bluegrass and Old-Time Festival (SFBOTF), which takes place on 1-9 February 2008. SFBOTF events take place in several different venues in the San Francisco area during the Festival period; see the '`07 Festival Re-cap' page on the website for examples.
