Athy Bluegrass Festival '08 will be on 10-13 July. Headline acts are Special Consensus (USA), Butch Waller & High Country (USA), LeRoy Mack (USA) and Grassroots (UK). Irish bands TBC. Full details in new year.

ABMA wish all their supporters a very happy Christmas and a bright new year.

The Special C. have played many times at Athy, but not at the festival; High Country played at two of the earliest Athy festivals, in the early 1990s; Leroy Mack nearly played at Athy one year; and Grassroots have played at Omagh and Dunmore East, but not previously at an Athy festival. In bringing them all together for 2008, the ABMA have achieved a very impressive lineup.
