IBMA E-newsletter launched today

In response to member request, the IBMA is launching an emailed version of its newsletter International Bluegrass today, starting with a special issue to share information on International Bluegrass Music Award nominees, Hall of Fame inductees, and other World of Bluegrass-related news.

The new publication will start out at least every other month, with expectations to become more frequent in the future. Members will continue to receive the printed versions of the newsletter on a bi-monthly basis.

IBMA’s e-newsletter will take the place of Blue Hot Bluegrass!, a monthly publication previously mailed to retail buyers and distributors, record labels, and press contacts. These recipients will receive the new emailed version of International Bluegrass, along with IBMA members.

'We're excited about offering this new service', says IBMA publications editor Nancy Cardwell. 'Moving from a bi-monthly to a monthly publication will allow our news reporting to be more current. We’ll also be including more industry-related articles, along with a column from Blue Hot! that covers bluegrass chart news.'
