Communion Belfast opens, 31 Oct. 2010

The Coors Light Open House Festival announces the start of 'Communion Belfast', a monthly club night at the Black Box, Belfast. It is organised in association with Communion in Britain, which has been a hotbed of the 'nu-folk' movement; and Communion Belfast will have the same aim of encouraging new musical talent in a wide range of genres.

Communion Belfast's opening 'Halloween Hoedown' on 31 October, despite the title, has nothing Americana (still less bluegrass) in the lineup; but anything connected with the Open House Festival will be worth keeping an eye on.
