No Bunratty Bluegrass Festival in 2018

Brendan Walsh of the Sixmilebridge Folk Club, director of the annual Shannonside Winter Music Festival in Co. Clare, sends this sad news concerning one of our best emerging festivals:

Sixmilebridge Folk Club and the Bunratty Business Association announce with regret that their annual Bluegrass Festival scheduled for late October 2018 will not go ahead.

Everyone involved in running the event for the last five years wishes to thank the bluegrass fraternity for their great support.

Sixmilebridge Folk Club in particular thank everyone involved and assure you that there will be plenty of top-quality bluegrass bands at their Shannonside Winter Music Festival (17-21 January 2019).
