Sacred Harp workshop and singing in Dublin, 18 Aug. 2012

Thanks to Sacred Harp Singers of Dublin for the news that as part of the Jack of Diamonds Rhythm & Roots Festival they will be hosting a workshop led by Cork's Sadhbh Ní Fhloinn. This will cover all the basics of singing shape-note harmony and will be followed by an open singing.

The workshop will be held on Saturday 18 August from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. in the Franciscan Friary, 4 Merchant's Quay, Dublin 8. All - including children - are welcome and no experience is necessary. A donation of €4 per person is suggested.
