Avian virus grips YouTube

Five weeks ago (24 Jan. 2012) the BIB passed on news about a pleasing little incident that had been caught on video during a performance by Josh Williams. We now learn from Bluegrass Today that this particular video, which was originally shot by noted bluegrass (and more) blogger Ted Lehmann, has so far been viewed well over a million times. Read the full story here, where you can also watch the video itself.

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm not sure what notable means in this context, but I sure appreciate your keeping the video going and linking to me.

Ted,

It is, I know, a feeble word; but be sure that it is intended as a compliment, and at the time none of the many possible better words occurred to me. All good wishes,

BIB editor

Richard - I had no sense at all that I was being insulted. Rather, I see my efforts as satisfying a need of mine and, perhaps, helping out some in our small bluegrass world, but doubt that there's much of note or influence of ideas. We do have lots of fun doing this, though. Thanks again. - Ted
