Kentucky's finest makes his way to Ireland Friday 10 June at Athy Arts Centre.

From remote Isonville, Kentucky, to an international following in bluegrass music, Don Rigsby has remained true to his mountain roots and made his mark as a powerful tenor and a distinctive mandolin player.

With a couple Grammy nominations and numerous awards (IBMA and SPBGMA) for his superb vocal abilities under his belt, Don holds on to a rich heritage and lifelong experience in traditional music and, in preserving the sounds of old... and through his love and dedication continues to propel it into the next generation.

Along with his superb band (a mix of Kentucky's and North Carolina's finest musicians), Don Rigsby & Midnight Call make their Irish debut with a select few dates in June.
